NOTE: ONE 20-yr. old female b c 1820 (per Patrick Co, VA census) not on here (probably married by now)
We assume that John Mobbs was 60 years of age by the time of this census in 1840 Wilson Co, TN, and since he had the same age bracket as the 1830 census in VA we assume he was 50 at that time.
We also assume that the female 40-50 years of age is his second wife Margaret "Peggy" Pugh since they were married in 1839 before this census. This would imply that Minsey bowling might have died in VA or just after arrival in TN (maybe in childbirth).
Notice that by now my ancestor James (John & Minsey's first born) was on a separate census with his wife Mary "Polly" Pugh. (Just married in 1840)
A female approximately 20 years of age (from the 1830 Patrick Co, VA census) is not on this census - probably married.
Andrew (32) is on the 1850 Wilson Co census with his wife Nancy (31) and children Mary (7), Lewis (4), Martha (10/12). He was married 1837 in Rutherford Co, TN. Andrew was on the 1870 Obion Co, TN census.
Baker is on the 1840 Wilson Co census and he marries 1845 in Williamson Co, TN.
By 1850 Wilson Co, TN census my ancestor James Mobbs has gone to Hemstead Co, AR (just after his son John Allen "long John" Mobbs was born in 1844 "Reterford?" TN.
Baker (30) is on the 1850 Williamson co TN census with his wife Nancy (25) and children Louisa (3) and William (1).
Some children of John and Minsey were not born at the time of the Patrick Co, VA census and some were grown and not living with their parents by the time of the Wilson Co, TN census.
